Restoration sits outside the six scalp series. Those treat a cause. These two treat hair that is already damaged.
Choose this if
- Frizz appears within an hour of leaving the house

- Your problem starts at the scalp. Grease, flakes, itch, shedding or greying all have their own series, and this will not touch any of them

This treats the consequence. Something else caused it.
Nothing repairs hair. Anything that says it does means coating.
Hair is dead protein. Once the cuticle has been lifted by bleach, roughened by heat or worn down by three years of being tied up, it stays that way until it is cut off. A raised, broken cuticle scatters light, which is why damaged hair looks dull, and it catches on neighbouring strands, which is why it frizzes and tangles.
An oil does not mend any of that. What it does is lie flat across the roughened surface so light reflects instead of scattering, and so strands slide past each other rather than catching. The base is Isododecane and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, first and second on the ingredient list in the buy panel above, which is what makes this feel dry rather than greasy, and neither of them is a silicone. Argan and macadamia oils sit sixth and seventh, with vitamin E at fifth.
What it will not do. It will not repair split ends, rebuild bonds, or undo bleach. It will not do anything for your scalp, because it does not go there. And if your hair is fine and untreated it will probably just weigh it down. This is a finishing product for damaged hair, and outside that it is not much use.
Four jobs, and repair is not one of them.

A flat film across a rough surface
A raised cuticle scatters light, and that is what dullness is. Laying an even film across it is the whole mechanism, which is why it works in seconds.
Isododecane, first on the list
A volatile carrier that takes the oils onto the hair and then leaves. It is what separates this from the heavy oils people over-apply, and it is not a silicone.
Argan seventh, macadamia sixth, vitamin E fifth
Twelve ingredients: vitamin E fifth, macadamia sixth, argan seventh. No water, no preservative, no silicone, no filler.
Because nothing does
Split ends cannot be mended and bleached cuticle cannot be rebuilt. Every product claiming repair is describing a coating — this one included.
Ten minutes, not eight weeks.
This is the only product in the range that works immediately and permanently stays a cosmetic effect. There is no building phase and no cumulative benefit, which is worth being straight about.

No. Nothing does. A split end cannot be mended, only cut off. What this does is smooth the surface so the damage catches the light less and tangles less, until you next get a trim.

Two drops for shoulder-length hair, three for longer. Almost everyone uses too much the first time. If it looks wet or greasy rather than smooth, that is the only way to get this wrong.
