Healthy hair starts somewhere most people never look.
Dr Scalp opened in Singapore in 2022 to do one thing properly - find the real cause of hair loss, dandruff and inflammation, and treat it at the root instead of the surface. Everything else about us follows from that.

Scalp science used to live in laboratories and dermatology journals. We think it belongs somewhere far more ordinary - a room on Orchard Road, on a Tuesday afternoon, with someone showing you your own scalp on a screen and explaining what they see.
Our research
Years in the lab before a single door opened.
The company was founded in 2022, but the science inside it is much older. Our own bioscience team spent years - and millions of dollars - developing the Bio-Cell therapy and the AI scalp analysis we now use every day in Singapore. None of it was licensed in from somebody else. It was built by our people, tested until it held up, and brought here only when it was ready.

The science team
Two people decide what goes into everything we use.
They work out of our biotechnology laboratory in Silicon Valley, and nothing reaches a Singapore studio until it has been through them. More than thirty thousand trial tests went into ZynStem™ Bio-Cell Therapy alone. That is the part of Dr Scalp you never see, and it is the reason the part you do see works.

The technology
Delivered under the surface, without a needle.
ZynStem™ Bio-Cell Therapy is applied with the NanoJET™ device. It carries the bio-cells through the surface of the scalp in fine pressurised bursts, so they arrive at the layer where the follicle actually lives, rather than sitting on top of it.
There is no injection and no recovery time. Most people describe it as a light tapping. Working at that depth is the whole point - it is the difference between a scalp that feels better for an afternoon and one that behaves differently in three months.

The active fraction is separated out - the proteins and signalling molecules a follicle responds to.

Every scan is explained to you on the screen, in plain language - what we are looking at, what is normal, what is not, and what changed since last time. You leave knowing how to look after your own scalp and what to watch for, which is not how this industry usually works.
If nothing is wrong, we will tell you that too, and you will not be sold a course of treatment to prove a point. From the first consultation onward we stay with you: your readings and photographs are kept, so your fourth visit is compared against your first rather than against somebody's memory of it.
