This one is measured in months, not weeks.
It cannot change hair that has already grown.
A hair goes grey because the pigment cells at the base of the follicle stop putting melanin into the shaft as it forms. Once that shaft is out of your scalp it is finished, in the way a fingernail is finished. Nothing applied to the outside of it can put colour back, and anything claiming to is either a dye or lying to you.
So this works at the follicle instead. The active is Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-20 Amide, sold as GREYVERSE, an alpha-MSH biomimetic peptide from Lucas Meyer Cosmetics. It is twenty-third on the ingredient list in the buy panel above, so you can check it. Around it sit dong quai, chuan xiong, ginseng, thuja, He Shou Wu and ginger, a herbal group used across Asia for greying, sitting consecutively from position eleven to sixteen.
What it will not do. It will not turn your existing greys dark. It affects hair that has not grown yet, so any change appears at the root and travels down at about a centimetre a month. If you want your whole head darker next month, you want a dye, and we would rather say that than take $68 from you. Lucas Meyer publish clinical data on GREYVERSE. That is their study of their ingredient, not our study of this bottle, and until we have run our own we are not going to call this clinically proven.
Four jobs, and reversing your greys is not one of them.
Reversing the grey you already have is the most oversold claim in this category, and it is not one of the four below. Here is what is actually in the bottle and what it can actually reach.

The INCI name for GREYVERSE, twenty-third on the list in the buy panel. Lucas Meyer publish trial data on it; those are their numbers, not ours.

Grey hair is coarser and drier, and half of why it looks older is texture rather than colour. That half responds in weeks.
Months, not weeks
Hair grows about a centimetre a month, so a re-pigmented root at week eight is a centimetre of root. We measure it at the follicle; a mirror takes far longer.
Week by week, and the week that actually counts.
This is the slowest thing we sell, and we would rather set that expectation here than lose you at month two. The texture changes early. The colour, if it changes at all, changes at the root and takes months to become visible.

- Week 3–6Nothing visible, and that is expectedThere is nothing to see at this stage and there should not be. Hair grows a centimetre a month, so even a perfect result has nowhere to show itself yet.

- Month 3–6The roots are where you will see itIf it is working for you, it shows as new growth at the parting. Months, not weeks. Anyone who told you otherwise was selling you a dye.

The shampoo carries the peptide during the wash. The conditioner handles the texture, which is half of why greying hair looks older. The tonic is on the scalp between washes, and the peptide sits eighth on its ingredient list against twenty-third here. Used alone it still helps. Used together it is a system.

No. Nothing applied to hair that has already grown can change its colour except a dye, and this is not a dye. It works at the follicle, on hair that has not grown yet.
